Djibouti Palace Kempinski is a unique 400 key 5-star hotel and serviced apartment development in an even more unique setting an Africa city designed like European settlement with traditional Arabian influences.
The project is a design and build contract in collaboration with Taisei in Japan. The structure was designed for UBC 1997 Zone 3 Seismic Forces.
Chris was responsible for the structural design and management/coordination while working for Whitby & Bird in 2007.
